Can my preprint be posted in the next few days?

Modified on Fri, 19 Apr at 12:26 PM

Yes, you can select to have your preprint posted immediately, but your preprint will be posted without the journal information. Once your manuscript passes the required journal checks, the journal information will be added to your preprint.

To begin this process, use the following steps:

1. Select “Peer Review Timeline” from the left side of the menu.

2. Select the “Learn More” option on the right side of the screen.

3. Select the “Post My Preprint” button.

4. A small pop-up appears in the upper right corner confirming your preprint will be posted in the next 48 hours:

Your preprint will go through our internal quality control checks. You will receive an email from Research Square once your preprint has posted.
